SANHS: Autumn Archaeology Symposium

The SANHS Archaeology Committee is delighted to present the Autumn Archaeology Symposium – a celebration of recent research in Somerset.
Speakers include:
- Professor Stephen Rippon (University of Exeter), – Regional Variation in Landscape and Society in South-West England – how distinctive is Somerset?
- Dr Jodie Lewis (University of Bradford), – Excavating Continuity: Results from the Priddy Environs Project
- Greg Wales (independent researcher), – Bower Hinton Farm: Clues to its Ancient Past
- Dr Richard Brunning (South West Heritage Trust). – Investigating a Bronze Age hillfort on Cothelstone Hill
Refreshments (tea, coffee & cake) included, but attendees will need to make their own arrangements for lunch
