Discovering the Wildlife of Churches at West Monkton Churchyard with SANHS Natural History.

Become part of this exciting two-year project by SANHS, to discover more about the wildlife of Somerset’s wonderful churchyards.
In most towns and villages, the parish churchyard is one of the most important areas for wildflowers, lichen, insects and other wildlife in the area.

We will have a self-guided churchyard wildlife tour, a children’s quiz sheet, a display, and guided walks.

Suitable for families : help from experts on hand.

There is no need to book for this event – just turn up at the churchyard at 10am.
