SANHS: Visit to Dunster Old Priory and Luttrell Arms

A visit to Dunster Old Priory with a conducted tour of the building with details of its history.  Bring lunch or make own arrangements, then meet in the afternoon to see early building details at the Luttrell Arms, followwed by tea and cake.

Arrive at the Old Priory at 11:00 for a walkthrough and description of the history of tghe building with drawings and report available to view. Further details on early roof structures and on its development as a farm. Bring packed lunch or make own arrangements – a room will be made available at the Dunster Museum if required. Reconvene at 2.30 pm to view plasterwork, old screen and other early features at the Luttrell Arms. Tea and cake to complete
