SANHS: Webinar – Kilve Oil Field, by Stephen Miles

Stephen Miles will give a talk on an early 1920s project which was launched
at Kilve in west Somerset to develop a discovery of oil that was believed to
have been found in the shale rock. He will talk about the project, the people
behind it including the story of the fake geologist William Forbes-Leslie,
associated projects, and the remaining retort at Kilve.
