As many members are aware, the Wyndham Hall was built in 1927 and has hardly changed in the last 100 years. The hall is now back with SANHS and at the beginning of a journey to repair the building for use as a lecture hall and independent cinema. The building will be open for viewing and events during the Heritage Open Days 10am – 4pm.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, formerly a patron of the Somerset Archaeological and Natural History Society. With respect for the late Queen and Royal Family we will now be running a scaled down series of events at the Wyndham hall for Heritage Open Days. Please see the poster below.
