Frome Society for Local Study: “Birds in a cage” Derek Niemann

Derek Niemann is a freelance writer who spent 25 years with the RSPB.
The true story of a group British prisoners of war in 1940s Germany, overcoming terrible conditions through a shared love of birds.
Meetings held at Frome Cricket Club, 30A Rodden Road, Frome BA11 2AH.
Parking on site. Bar opens at 7pm before meetings. Non-members welcome. Admission free – voluntary collection for local Frome charities.
