SANHS 175 Exhibition at Taunton Library “Celebrating 175 years of SANHS in Somerset”
In the week of 3rd to 7th March 2025, we will be holding an exhibition in Taunton library which will show the history of SANHS over the last 175 years.
Please come along to this free exhibition in Taunton library (near the coffee shop).
A plethora of images that summarise the history of the Society but also the main characters, the estate, the work of many volunteers and everything SANHS should be celebrating in 2025!
Open 9.30am to 5.30pm everyday (and until 7pm on Wednesday)
We aim to include some of the most prominent members – such as Harold St George Grey and Mick Aston as well as information on the purchase of Taunton Castle in 1874 by the society and the first displays held there. We will be selling books and of course sharing information about joining the society to the general public.
