The Wyndham Hall Picture House: Land Girls

It’s 1941 World War II continues to rage across Europe. The young men of England have been called to the front to fight. So, back home a new regiment is formed, an army of young women who are dispatched across the countryside to work the land. The Land Girls are learning new skills and soon make their mark on those left behind. Filmed in and around Dulverton, this is a must-see film which is both hilarious and deeply moving.

To make this a sustainable venture we will be running it as a club, where those attending pay for films by the half year.

Costs £20 for the autumn term – 4 films; and £20 for the spring – 4 films

This is payable on film nights, card, cheque or cash. You will get a pass to allow you into the 4 films. Couples £38 for half season. Guests £6 per film.
