In most towns and villages\, the parish churchyard is one of the most important areas for wildflowers\, lichen\, insects and other wildlife in the area. \nThe project is to be launched at Exmoor Society’s Big Nature Day at Nettlecombe on 31st May. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOn the day there will also be a self-guided churchyard wildlife tour\, a children’s quiz sheet\, a display\, and guided walks.\nSuitable for families – help from experts on hand.Click HERE for details of the whole Big Nature Day.\nThere is no need to book with SANHS for this event\, just turn up. \n(We hope SANHS’ contribution will have been added to Exmoor Society’s website by the time of the event!)\nPlease note: entrance to the festival is £10 per car\, payable to Exmoor Society\, not to SANHS.
