BOOZE, BLOOD AND BASKETS: Electing Taunton’s MPs. – A Talk by Mary Siraut

Mary Siraut will talk about potwallopers, voting, bribery and violence at the Taunton parliamentary elections, leading to Reform and the town becoming the model of the secret ballot.
